An easy read!
By Roy Evans
I found this an interesting read, even if it is another coming of age, and coming out story. The religious 'problem' is dealt with here in a more logical manner and is not overly dwelt on. It is an easy, fun read.

Meh. It was free and I was bored.
By Amazon Customer
It was...okay. First, writing a book is extremely hard while writing a review is extremely easy. So, I applaud the author for his work. Having said that, there wasn't very much in this book that is believable. The pace of the relationship, along with the reaction they receive, felt fake. There are a lot of things the reader is told, such as how the two main characters feel about each other; however, storytelling is about showing the reader. I wanted to see why they cared so much for each other. How did they fall in love? Their common ground felt forced. Star Wars just pops up without really signifying anything. And Neptune? I have never even heard of a person fixating on one planet without being able to describe why. The climax was really rushed and even the characters have a discussion about how unbelievable it is. Then, the epilogue is just slapped on at the end, and while it does clear up the mess, it doesn't really give us any new information or closure about how the characters have arrived to their final destination in the story.

surprisingly good
By Brenda L
Won't lie don't usually like teen romance but this one was wonderful. Can't help but like Beecham and Hudson both such strong characters, especially Beecham. All those years of being bullied, feeling invisible. The only things I didn't like was the mother's resentful reaction and response when Beecham came out, why Perry wasn't introduced earlier, Craig's back story - what made him a bully, other than these minor issues this book was a wonderful read.
