About the Author
Dr. Terry Law is president of The Storm Chaser Foundation. For decades he has supplied life-saving relief to persecuted peoples in dozens of nations, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia and China. He consults with government and religious leaders internationally, with a special focus on the Middle East and the Muslim world. The author of several books, he is a widely-sought speaker in the United States, Canada and Europe. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. James Gilbert is co-founder of The Storm Chaser Foundation. His wide-ranging career as an author, speaker and recording artist has taken him into 61 nations on five continents, with special emphasis on the Middle East and Communism. A versatile communicator, he has lectured in Moscow’s City Hall, performed at a Soviet jazz festival, conducted medical clinics in China, interviewed Iraqi government leaders and taught philosophy in an American high school. He is the author of six books, including Storm Chaser: The Terry Law Story. James lives with his wife and daughter in Florida.

Better than a semester-long course in contemporary world religions - ...

"All Americans, including Muslims, should stay watchful and speak up. Don't let simplistic fear or retribution silence you." [p. 162] Finally, a book on ISIS that offers practical guidance on what we CAN do NOW to make a difference in this war on freedom, and written by two men with extensive firsthand experience in the Middle East. Knowledge is power. Better than a semester-long course in contemporary world religions - this book clarified for me the difference between "Islam" and "Islamism", and gives the most concise history I've ever read on "Why do they hate us?" Refreshing to read such a unifying book on the topic.Islam's family tree is respectfully and masterfully detailed, with the multiple philosophies within Sunni and Shia explained. Most provocative to me was the chapter, "Did we cause ISIS?" It propels one past the blame game, and launches a new era where we stop apologizing for America's past, and start fighting for America's future - for all Americans, regardless of political stripe. Factual, brutally honest and even hopeful -- this book left me with eyes wide open and a sense of personal empowerment. We CAN make a difference.

A "must read" book after the Orlando massacre!

Terry and Jim did their homework and colored outside the safe lines of political correctness and religiosity to bring us a manual for our times. The content was useful and relevant, and the writing style engaging - a great combination for engagement. I read the book from cover to cover ... in one sitting. Now I'm going through it again, to pick up anything I may have missed or dropped. Unmasking ISIS is superior to any of the dozen books I've read to date on the same subject, so I'm recommending it to my friends enthusiastically!
